Thurles Community Training Centre is co-funded by the Irish Government, the European Social Fund and the Youth Employment Initiative as part of the ESF Programme for Employability Inclusion and Learning 2014-2020.
Due to National Health Guidelines the Centre is closed to the public until further notice. We will be providing remote learning from Monday the 11th of January. The staff at the Centre truly admire the strength and determination shown by our learners over what has been a tough year. We ask you once again to respect the guidelines, stay safe and stay in touch.
Our Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Centre to provide a safe and supportive environment where our participants can learn, train, plan, work, acquire basic skills, make decisions and develop their full potential. It is our aim to contribute to this in an holistic manner, while in an environment of mutual respect which will also enhance the development of the staff and stakeholders.
Our Client group is largely from the local area surrounding Thurles – we accept applications from both male and female between the ages of 16 and 21 that meet our entry requirements.
Role of Thurles CTC
The Centre is seen as providing a service which complements those put in place by the statutory agencies in terms of primary, secondary and third-level education.
